Hello virtual world!!
Hello eveyone! If you are like me, cars play an important role in our society and for some it is a symbol of freedom from parents!! Jajaja anyways, I have always been around cars. My dad is a mechanic and i used to help him clean the tools or help him sort bolts and nuts and he taught me more than just changing oil. He taught me how to be a hard worker and that honesty is the best policy. He also taught me that a person has to give their best to be the best. I used to be really good at drawing and making things with my hands. My dad always worked hard for the family and was willing to send me to a very prestigious university to become an engineer or an architect. Well dad, SuRPrIsE!!! I became a mechanic!!! I was always curious about how things would work and come together. I broke many toys in the learning process, but i did learn how all the parts worked and how they affect each other and how each individual component plays a role in a certain function. This found knowledge also lead me to fix toys that would not work. Cars now a days are becoming increasingly complicated. Hopefully with my blog I will be able to become a car handyman for everyone. I will also be giving tips along the way as you join me in my dream of fixing and restoring cars. Well everyone, to begin, I will provide a good tip proven by me in real life. The life of every engine and of any vehicle comes with the maintenance. If you routinely maintain your vehicle, it will provide a longer service life and with the prices of cars now a days, it might be cheaper to maintain and fix rather than getting another set of wheels. My very first car was a 1994 Geo Prism. I had bought it while living in New York state on October 2000 with 129k miles. I kept the maintenance until my first car died in 2014 after my father totaled the vehicle in an accident (my father walked out of the crash alive and shaken up, but no serious injuries) and with 320k miles. Until that day, that little car would average 32 to 34 mpg on the highway. I recommend following the manufacturers service plans and recommended fluids. It makes a difference. Well, that is all I can say for now. Tune in soon as I start the restoration of a 1971 Datsun 240z series 1 production.
